Wanda Hall-Myers, Ph.D., fulfilled her childhood dream of helping others by becoming a psychologist. She has worked in the fields of education, mental health, developmental disabilities, and outpatient healthcare. She has conducted psychological assessments, provided consultations, as well as provided therapy for children, adolescents, and adults.
After years of providing clinical services, her focus shifted to organizational consulting. Following additional training and preparation, she embraced her entrepreneurial spirit and launched Hall-Myers Consulting. The firm focuses on helping organizations remain competitive by creating cultures that are adaptive and responsive to change. The firm ascribes to the following principles of change: 1) Organizations change only when the people within the organization change; and 2) For successful change to take place, the psychological aspects of change must be addressed.
Dr. Hall-Myers is passionate about the promotion of mental wellness, and knows the strong correlation that exists among thoughts, emotions and behaviors. She aspires to share with others the importance of recognizing and evaluating personal “thought habits” as a necessary component for personal and professional development.
The University of Memphis, home of the tigers, is where she earned a Ph.D. in Psychology. A wife and mother of two, she enjoys family time, traveling, and reading. Her commitment to being a life-long learner ensures that she continues to strive to become better. She also enjoys music, exercising, and in her spare time, watching HGTV. Community service and philanthropic endeavors are important to Dr. Hall-Myers and she can often be found serving and promoting various youth programs.
